The young woman on the cover is Helena, a character in the book, who is tossed into a bizarre fate by irresistible forces in the story.
In terms of design, I tried to express her sorrow and anguish, and the sense that her life is fragilely disturbed by the tower as a symbol of power.
Vladimir's Tower was first published in the Spanish language under the title "Vladimiro en su Pedestal y Relatos Ocultos" in Argentina, in 2011. This book is the second edition, available both in English and Spanish.

Mel Matos was born in the Dominican Republic and migrated with his family to Venezuela at the age of 2 years old. In the latest years, his career has evolved into information systems auditing and data analytics, where he continues his development.

Mel Matosはドミニカ共和国に生まれ、2歳の時に家族と共にベネズエラに移住。
大学卒業後、税理士としてキャリアをスタートさせ、ベネズエラ 、バハマを経てオーストラリアに移住後、情報システム監査とデータ分析の分野でキャリアを積み上げながら、同時に執筆活動も展開している。
